Maimiti and her sister took me around the island. It was more an opportunity to show me their love and connection to the island. We took the day to relax and enjoy the long length of near empty white beach and took a swim or two in the lagoon. They commented on their way of life, what they enjoyed and how they did things. They shared some of the joys of their growing up years on the island. They were sisters, so they reminisced and we all laughed a lot. Truly one of those unforgettable days!
