I came back to Huahine and was welcomed as if I'd lived there all my life. Such a good feeling! I went back to people watching from the courtyard as I sipped my tea, ate my lunch or drew my comic. I'd only been gone a few days and one and all waved at me as if I'd always belonged there. Maui, the large man on the scooter, offered to take me to the Marae so I could take pictures. Marae are archeological sites where Ancient Tahitians held ceremonies. Every home had a Marae at one time. There were also large community Maraes. This one was a community Marae and had a small but well organized museum associated with it. I loved being back on Huahine!Cartoons, cartes postales et bandes dessinées de mes voyages, placés ici pour vous faire sourire. Comic book of my travels, travel postcards and/or cartoons. Haphazardly posting to make you smile.
