The Hawaiikinui transports cargo between the islands as well as a very few passengers. There are no cabins, just a few benches in a somewhat covered space, and a space to roll out a sleeping bag to sleep the voyage away. Like most transport on the islands the schedules are very loose, and the Hawaikinui didn't leave Huahine until nearly sunrise.
I arrived in Raiatea to be picked up by Max, my host at Raiatea Bellevue B&B.
